I was blown away by this film like anything. Either that or maybe too much everyday BBC news has made me subconsciously revel in everything that takes a dig at the British politics. Case in point... my unrelenting fanship for this and V for Vendetta. Yea, having the young pregnant girl as black was quite ironic and poignant a choice. And it did wonders for the plot too. Cheers! Clive Owen continues to impress me, and Alfonso Cuaron.. well, he's definitely in for a very long stay. I think it was ironic that the girl who "saves the world with her baby", the source of new life, was someone from Africa. I think there was a subltle message in it. Absorbing flick this.
