So it was with immense skepticism that I approached Match Point. Perhaps, my prejudice again played part in me not liking it that much in the end. But thats not the point. There is only one point and its a profound one: Sacrlet Johansson is to die for!!! lol Totally agree about the British accents. Even the best in Hollywood succumb to cliches. I thought the movie had a point to make albeit not a shockingly profound one. In the context of the movie and the genre, I thought the point made about how important luck is as a driving element in life came through quite well. But of course, how much of that luck is actually free will and the resultant butterfly effect is ever so debatable LOL Cheers! Karan.
